play_ Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Hello. I am making a site where i will be selling shirts, stickers, and other minor items online. I wanted the site to be attractive, specially for teens/young adults (18-28 or so). Something like jinx.com and threadless.com. I like how those sites look, but i wanted something different, and came out with something sorta dull. IMO, it looks too business-like or, i know simple is good, but this might be too simple. http://www.noobcircle.com What do you guys suggest? images and colors? Can't think of much to do. all widths are in percentage so it doesn't look too narrow on monitors with high resolution. ps: a little glitchy in IE6, but it will get worked on. ober Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 It's pretty bland and boring. I'd throw some more images in there, especially for a site that basically sells an image. The banner area is very boring and while I like the navigation for a personal site, I don't think it'll fly on a professional site. To sum it up in a word... I'd have to call it "simple".
