Server help?

I downloaded a program called Eclipse founded here http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/ and the program has a Server folder where the server installs files and adds stuff is there a way I can get it online so that people dont have to download my game. or anything like that...and also if you click out of the Server program while its on the server will be off line thats wat I wanted to know is there a code to tell when it is and isnt online

Files have to be downloaded before they can be accessed by a computer, most of the time, even when you view a webpage you are downloading the html file, and the images, then your computer is giving them back to the browser to view.  The exception to this is streaming media and flash based content.  But even flash content has to be downloaded into a cache.  I don't think you can do what you're trying to do.

yes.

 

your see your page or web site else you wont ok.

 

 

there is not anyway to give the users a echoed message if the server not working.

 

saying that most good hosting business off a service that does do what you want but it cost money.

 

now i dont no if it possable but you can use a second dns service to redirect to another page if

your server is off line but never setted it up ever sorry.

Ok another thing is it's possible to have people sign up for my game online and be able to login and play. Also the users info is stored in username.ini files so couldnt, there be a script that once the people are done creating thier profile the script will download the file in the account folder.

 

Example I go the the RPG site and create an account the user name is avatar[ avatar-->Download-->account ]
