*Sigh* IIS6 PHP5, 404 pages

Again I have to set up an IIS installation but this time using PHP5.

I have installed a fresh IIS6 on my fresh Win2k3 R2 server and downloaded the latest PHP 5.2.3 windows installer, ran it to configure in ISAPI module mode and lo and behold when I try to view a php page I get 404 errors.

Why oh why can we not seem to get around these problems at php.net! Though granted its more then likely Microsoft.

So can anyone give me any pointers? I have googled and goodled to my hearts content but no one seems to have an answer.

It seems that even though the installer for 5.2.3 creates a web extension in IIS6, IIS6 refuses to acknowledge it. I have to set the Unknown ISAPI extension to Accepted in order for PHP to work. *sigh*
