garydt
Do you know how to set/change the permissions in PHPYADMIN to allow my pages to delete records in tables? I've looked, theres nothing that i can see. Is there a php script that does it?

garydt
I've got a guestbook on my site and it lets users deletes guestbook messages. On my local server it deletes the records in the table fine but on the remote server it doesn't. I'm guessing its to do with table permissions. How do i change the permission? You should check to see what permissions your user has -- are you connecting "remotely"?

When the user clicks 'delete guestbook message' it activates this script- mysql_query("DELETE FROM guestbook WHERE id = '$recnum"); but it doesn't delete record,. i get no error either. It works on my computer though.
