[SOLVED] Noobish Question

I m kind of new with php, and looked in a lot of tutorials in phpfreaks but couldn't find an answer to my question(or didn't look at the right place).

So I have a page, whose content depends on the link i click previously.

Different link, different content(its a recipe site, so I want to have a list with the recipes and when I click on a recipes link, get the info for that recipe).

What should I do so that when the display recipe page opens, php knows which recipe I clicked on the previous page?

Each recepe needs a id and the id needs to be in a link pointing to a

new page to get that recepe via the id in the link and query the database ok.

use $_GET[''] to get the id on the new page and select the recepe from the database with that id.
