chelnov63
Hi I have a simple php uploader: The html page is: <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> </head> <body> <form action="uploader.php" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data" name="form1" id="form1"> <input type="file" name = "Filedata" size="45" /><br /> <input type="submit" value = "Upload File" /> </form> </body> </html> and the php part is: if (is_uploaded_file($_FILES['Filedata']['tmp_name'])) { $uploadDirectory = "uploads/"; $uploadFile = $uploadDirectory . basename($_FILES['Filedata']['name']); move_uploaded_file($_FILES['Filedata']['tmp_name'], $uploadFile); } now i can upload gifs, jpgs etc fine..but when i try uploading a .mov file(5MB) i get the error: Notice: Undefined index: Filedata in C:\htdocs\uploadtest\uploader.php on line 18 Does anyone have any idea why this is so? Do i need to code it differently for uploading movies? thanks in advance Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/62479-uploader-working-fien-with-images-but-not-mov-files/ Share on other sites
hitman6003
What is the max upload file size set to in php.ini? Additionally, I think that if it takes longer than php's max execution time to upload the file it will error.
