MemphiS
my cPanel is telling me that its used 85% memory + 10.8% swap. im only running two websites which all up only take up 5 MBs.. I do beleive i should be worried that its this high? its on a VPS is it possiable that the other users on the VPs are smashing the memory usuage.. i know it say you only get "part" of the server but i never had this problem for the first 4 months i had the server..Suddenly last 2 months its gone extremly high ??? trq
How much memory does your VPS have? To run cPanel comfortably I would think you'd need at least 512MG.
MemphiS
Hey thorpe thanks for the reply, uhm i have Dual Xeon 3.0 GHZ 256 MB RAM + SWAP 20 GB Disk Space im not to sure how to find its actual memory..
trq
Yeah... your problem would more than likely be that you are only assigned 256MB. Everything that I have read about vps's would suggest at least 384MG to run cPanel and most recommend 512MG. I would suggest upgrading your account.
