ardyandkari
hey, i have flash mx 2004. i purchased a template with flash components and thought that i would be ok... THEY NEED FLASH 8 OR NEWER!!! i searched the web and found that i cant do anything about it...so i am downloading the free trial of 8 and i am going to try saving it in my format... crap... i have a question, is there any difference between flash 8, cs3, and mx other than there are some extra bits of code to make the older versions obsolete? later ardy Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/65646-flash/ Share on other sites
NArc0t1c
Yes, usually when I get flash mx source code, it tends to be flash 4.0 or lower. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/65646-flash/#findComment-328101 Share on other sites

NArc0t1c
Well, Flash MX or much older than Flash 8.0. It still has action script 1.0 and doesn't have new efect's such as blur, drop shadow or any special efects.
