[SOLVED] Time Set

we needf a string for time in date:time and find that

$NOWDATE=strftime('%Y%m%d%H%M%S');  works just fine. We are doing

this on a host in California and we are in Dallas. strftime picks up time perfectly,

but we want to deploy this  sofware at a site in Los Angeles.  The  time is used  as a

column in mysql and  there are several hundered rows in the table which is to be a a sortable column.  So, how do we set  it up and set the time zone for CDT  so that a

client in Los Angeles can time stamp a record and have it seamless and sortable with the records already loaded  in the table from Dallas?.

Thanks,

Annabelle
