php_guy
Hello all, So I've done a fresh install of xampp 1.6.3 and when I click on "phpMyAdmin" on the left side, I get the following error: Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation I looked in PHP.INI and verified the extension was in fact being loaded (and verified the file was found in the extension directory). Any ideas what this might be, or other investigative steps I can persue? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/66905-error-loading-mysql/ Share on other sites

php_guy
I looked over that thread, and have verified the items suggested in that thread -Verified that "extension_dir" points to the correct location -Copied libmysql.dll to the Windows (called WINNT on this box) directory as well as the %WINDIR%\System32 directory -Restarted the server after these changes Any other thoughts, or things I can do to help narrow this down?
