php_guy Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 Hello all, So I've done a fresh install of xampp 1.6.3 and when I click on "phpMyAdmin" on the left side, I get the following error: Cannot load mysql extension. Please check your PHP configuration. - Documentation I looked in PHP.INI and verified the extension was in fact being loaded (and verified the file was found in the extension directory). php_guy Posted August 27, 2007 Author Share Posted August 27, 2007 I looked over that thread, and have verified the items suggested in that thread -Verified that "extension_dir" points to the correct location -Copied libmysql.dll to the Windows (called WINNT on this box) directory as well as the %WINDIR%\System32 directory -Restarted the server after these changes Any other thoughts, or things I can do to help narrow this down?
