What I want to do is have a <select> dropdown with options and I want the page to refresh itself and display some information on that option. The problem is that since PHP isn't client-sided, I don't know how to get the value of the selected option and display the relevant info on that option. Any ideas on how to do this with PHP? ToonMariner Posted August 30, 2007 Share Posted August 30, 2007 nope ajax would be the best option and just updating content on certain elements, failing that its submitting the form that the select box is in to the same page so it can use that info to generate content.
