DeeCee
hi all How would i visit a website through a IP instead of its domain. Like when i go to Google.com i can access it through http://64.233.167.91/ also. But something like http://liveu-19.vo.llnwd.net/livevideo/video/flash8/70/247670/340719.flv TO http://87.248.210.214/livevideo/video/flash8/70/247670/340719.flv i cannot access?? Is there any way of accessing the content without using the domain or get the IP of the file or somthing?
steviewdr
You cant. Servers with 1 IP address can have hundreds of domains hosted. The only way it will work is if a domain (www.website.com) has a dedicated IP - which is only the case for large companies e.g. google. -steve
