03jtrickey
Dear Users,I am in the process of designing the website [a href=\"http://www.gloscheck.co.uk/index.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.gloscheck.co.uk/index.php[/a] and I am hoping to launch it on May 2nd (my 14th birthday!). When it is launched, it will be at the address [a href=\"http://www.gloscheck.co.uk/\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.gloscheck.co.uk/[/a], (where my old website is currently stationed).I am using Cpanel with Mambo as my MySQL editor. I am also using PHP, HTML and javascript coding in places. Please note that many of the content pages are still to be uploaded, and that no pictures have yet been added. It would be very helpful if you could provide me with some critique and ideas for Gloscheck before the (estimated) launch date.Cheers,James. jcombs_31
It's not that bad, especially for your age, but needs work. The menu is hard to read at the top, and nothing on the main page tells me what this site is all about. I see it has something to do with weather forcasts, but then I see a link with "games" too, so what is this site for? 03jtrickey
Hi,Thanks for your help. As it is still under construction I haven't actually designed the full layout, content and colour on the website yet!The website is for Gloucestershire weather and it will have (and has got) lots of information about the local and UK weather, history of the county, some information about the wildlife, a few games (to keep people on the site for longer), and a forum. It is going to stick to the main theme of weather. (I want to be a meteorologist when I am older).I will make a point to recustomize the menu bar at the top.Thanks,James.
