[SOLVED] Require/Include/etc...

I'm sorry for posting such a noobish question, but I cannot figure out how to prperly call another script.

This is just a snippet of what I have:

<?php
require_once('config.php')
//first month
$result = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM January");

echo "<p>January:</p>

I have also tried "rquire," and even "include."

The code I'm trying to include is here:

<?php
$con = mysql_connect("localhost","root","root");
if (!$con)
  {
  die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error());
  }

mysql_select_db("bdays", $con);
?>

If anybody has some pointers, please let me know.  Thanks.
