sOX LAME FAAC php wont do what i want

can someone look at this and tell me why it isnt working?

its supposed to output a mp4 file

Instead of a one liner you might try breaking it up and adding some debugging. The exec function takes a few optional arguments that come in handy for exactly that purpose.
