ainoy31
Hello- I am having a hard time finding an answer to this problem. I receive an automatic CSV file feed which gets inserted into my tables and one of the field is a date. An example of the date format in this CSV file is 09-13-2007. However, on my website, the date selection is in 09/20/2007 format. I have to run a query to find a match and the DATE is one of the requirement for match criteria. Here is the code: $sql = "SELECT cs.* FROM carriers_schedule cs WHERE cs.s_startdate = '$reqDate' AND cs.s_deptport = RIGHT('$reqDeptAirport', 3) AND cs.s_destport = RIGHT('$reqDestAirport', 3)"; Is there a way to ignore the "-" and "/" and just look at the numbers? I hope this is not too confusing. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. fenway
Assuming you've stored the date in a DATE field, you can exactly whatever piece you want... what's the problem?
