[SOLVED] Weird characters after migrating

Recommended Posts

I just migrated to a different server with our local hour registration system.

I now get this error when loading up:

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a13/balacay/errorphp.jpg

Previous server:

PHP Version 5.0.4

Mysql 4.1.7

New server:

PHP Version 5.2.3

Mysql  5.0.22

And both use IIS.

Anyone able to tell me what cause all those weird chars? And how do I fix this?

When I scroll further down I get the menu I am supposed to see...

Thanks a lot!

My apologies for double posting:

I figured this was a better spot since the name of this part of the forum was "PHP and MySQL".

What is your code generally like?

Have you tested out a simple script to see if that works?

As soon as I try something like this:

<?php

   $gbGratuit = true;

   include ( "include/general.php" );

   echo serialize ( $gUsersByName );
   echo '<br />';
   echo serialize ( $gUsersByLogon );
?>

I get the error on the new server... the old one is just fine...

When trying this code:

<?php

phpinfo();

?>

Works without problems...
