Woodburn2006
i use the following code to delete a file from the server: $pi = pathinfo($img); $imname = $pi['basename']; $impath = "/home/cufc/public_html/images/players/". $oldteam ."/". $imname; unlink($impath); the path of the file that the code should delete is: "/home/cufc/public_html/images/players/01/pic.jpg but the only problem is that the code is seeing the basename as '01' instead of 'pic.jpg' any ideas why it is doing this? Daniel0
Try to print_r($pi) and see what it says. Also make sure that $img contains the correct value. In this instance you could just use basename() (unless of course you need other information from $img after the code you posted).
