Windows Server 2003 & PHP

Recommended Posts

Please help me out. I am new to Server 2003 IIS6 & PHP. I have installed latest PHP on my server which I want to use for my website and possibly for some audio streaming server(s). I followed instructions what I could find and got PHP half way working.

I have test.php script in root of my website [a href=\"http://67.159.5.2/test.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://67.159.5.2/test.php[/a] . That script works just fine but if I put script in any subdirectory it doesn’t work.

I get 404 error, page cannot be found. I can display html pages in internet browser though. Is that problem with PHP configuration?

Can someone help me to figure out what I am doing wrong. Please let me know what information would be helpful to solve this problem.

I am ready to study and read I just need some helpful hints.

Thank you a lot. Charles

In IIS I guess you need to create an alias or a new domain if you want to put your script in that directory.
Or you can put the php script under your default website.
