[SOLVED] Inserting Images into a MYSQL Database // Table?

It can be done, but it's preferable to simply include a relative path if at all possible.

agreed with fenway you can use blob type to store files in the database but storing just the URL of the image is faster and less troublesome when you want to display a gallery or something like that

i dont understand what you guys mean like create a database for the images or just link them?

cause i want to add a coloum for images into my database

so ill have

Name Type Description Image

Soap  soap  cleaning (image)

 

if that makes any sence.

No, put the images someone on the file system, then store a path to where it is.

the the input to that field will be like c:\image.jpeg
