WYSIWYG

I have only used tinymce wysiwyg by Moxiecode, however, a client of mine is complaining that he cannot access the WYSIWYG on a CMS I built him.

I suspect its from disabling javascript, or a firewall, or something.

Anyway, I need help and I need to find another editor that will be CROSS BROWSER compatible, simple, easy to use for my customer, AND free.

Any suggestions?

Also, can anyone tell me the possible reason tinymce wasn't working for the client? It works everywhere else, even I can view it now.

tinymce is all javascript, so it would probably be from disabling javascript, all form WYSIWYG editors are javascript, java, flash, or shockwave because those are the only things that can update your page without reloading the page.

I would suggest that either they allow javascript on just that page, or completely allow javascript.

sounds to me your client is overly concerned about "evil" javascripts and just turns it off. Running a CMS without javascripting is prettymuch like going 10 years back in time as for webdevelopment. Just tell him to use firefox instead of IE to increase security or opera even.
