AndyB
Probably the wrong collation and those 'control' characters are showing. Either that or it's some 'smart crap' from MS Weird. Barand
Either a control character (less than ascii 32) or a default character where no character is defined for that ascii value in the font you are using. cooldude832
how can i replace them to nothing? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/73013-what-is-/#findComment-368370 Share on other sites
d22552000
you can't. It is just how you are displaying the results. this is simply teh vertical space or the newline character WITHOUT the carriage return. This happens when from php you output \n WITHOUT \r first (\r\n) Do STR_REPLACE('\n','\r\n',$RESULT); Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/73013-what-is-/#findComment-368372 Share on other sites
MadTechie
Of course you can replace it with nothing.. as with you can replace CR or NL.. here.. this will replace the VT with nothing $data= preg_replace('/\x{0B}/i', '', $data); Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/73013-what-is-/#findComment-368375 Share on other sites
