Probably the wrong collation and those 'control' characters are showing.  Either that or it's some 'smart crap' from MS Weird.

its the control char for Vertical Tab (Chr 11)

Either a control character (less than ascii 32) or a default character where no character is defined for that ascii value in the font you are using.

you can't.  It is just how you are displaying the results.  this is simply teh vertical space or the newline character WITHOUT the carriage return.

 

This happens when from php you output \n WITHOUT \r first (\r\n)  Do STR_REPLACE('\n','\r\n',$RESULT);

Of course you can replace it with nothing.. as with you can replace CR or NL..
