Wes1890 Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 I'm just curiouse how easy it would be to hijack a session.. because I'm going to use sessions to prevent multiple instances of a certain window, and I just don't want it to be able to work around. I'm not asking how to hack sessions, just wondering how safe they are, because I'm sure they are hackable somehow. Your goal, as a coder, is to make the risk as small as possible- increase your defenses against a "hacker" trying to hijack sessions. One way to do that is by using the user's agent name (browser name). Check this article, it will guide you how to improve your security when it comes to session-hijacking. Orio.
