The Little Guy
I am getting TONS of spam on my site, I have An image CAPTCHA, That isn't working, but it slowed it down. I am tracking the users I.P. Address, but he doesn't have one (It gets others)??? I don't know what else to do. Any Ideas? cmgmyr
if you are getting things like BB code in the messages, you can filter for that and not send the email if you find any. The Little Guy
I am filter out the name the user chooses, he/she puts ma234zda in for the name (the numbers change). so I am filtering out anything with with a preg_match. The person might figure that out, and stop using ma897zda for a name and use something else... so this might not last... Any other ideas? phpQuestioner
I have a script that I use to filter out specific words and all urls that are sent to me; it looks through my form fields for these specific words (like a bad words script) and if they are present - the script does not send me the email and if there not present, it will send me the email; is that what you are wanting to do? The Little Guy
I think I figured it out, I have an older site that was still active, and it didn't have the CAPTCHA or the ip tracking. They both used the same db, so the hacker must have been from the old site... so we will see if that works.
