adding GMP to PHP

Recommended Posts

Greetings

I have PHP 5.1.2 installed on my win2k3 server under IIS6. I installed it using the windows installer. I am looking to add GMP features but not sure how to go about doing it. I'm not a linux guy so everything I find is kind of confusing. From what I gather about it is you have to recompile PHP with GMP. So being a windows dork, how do I go about adding GMP? What do I use for software if any and what are the steps?

Thank you

I don't use windows at all but as far as I am aware most (if not all) extensions are already built for you. All you need do is simply uncomment the relevent extension.dll line in your php.ini file and restart IIS.

Of course (not being a windows user) I may be way off.
