d_barszczak
Hi all, I have a table that has 4 columns. tag, title, teamID, order test, Test Page, 3, 1 The teamID is a number that relates to a teams table which consists of. id, team 3, Team 3 What i would like to do is run a query that shows me the team name not the team id in the first table. Is this possible. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/78390-help-with-a-query-please/ Share on other sites
rajivgonsalves
it would be something like this select t1.tag,t1.title,t2.team,t1.order from table1 t1, table2 t2 where t1.teamID=t2.id where table1 is the name of your table with 4 columns and table2 is the name of the table with 2 columns hope its helpful Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/78390-help-with-a-query-please/#findComment-396676 Share on other sites
fenway
I'd prefer to see: select t1.tag ,t1.title ,t2.team ,t1.order from table1 t1 join table2 t2 on t1.teamID=t2.id Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/78390-help-with-a-query-please/#findComment-396697 Share on other sites
