is there away that when i users 1st views there profile it comes up with a page saying please fill in this form to get account details... after form is filled out

You will need to create a session at login time, this session will have a value of either "TRUE" OR "FALSE"

 

it will be set depending on if the user has filled in all the correct information in that form. If he/she has not, then the value will be set to FALSE, otherwise TRUE.

 

When they submit the form, and everything is filled out correctly, set the session value to TRUE. You will need to check this value on ALL of your users pages.

 

For those types of checks, such as:

Logged in or not

Form filled or not

or anything else like this I would place in one file, and just include that file into all the appropriate pages.

maybe you can try something like

 

when user create his account , it submits hidden filed and insert 0 value

so it's the first time

when he entered to his profile it checks

 

if value==0 {

// do something

update this value to 1

}else{

//dddd

}

 

idon't know if that helps

 

maybe you can store cookies too and as the same

 

if he enters the profile it checks if cookies isset or not

and remove this cookie later
