Hi,

$varible is "3 lines text........................... ...................... ........................";

I have used echo "<img src="../images.gif" tilte="$variable"></img>";

But on tooltip all the 3 lines is shown in a single line with mozilla browser

In IE it is shown in separate lines.

How to avoid the problem of displaying the tooltip in a single line with mozilla firefox

check to make sure your "$variable" does not have carriage returns in it. the "title" attribute of an object does not use: <br>, \n, or \r to create a carriage/line breaks to return to the next line. all you have to do is in your html; type something in the title attribute and press the "Enter Key" and then you would use your spacebar to indent part of the "title" attribute. but if you php has line breaks in it like \n or \r; then this may be causing you this issue. you might want to double cheap your php "$variable" spacing/white space; that could also make the title attribute overflow to the next line.

- good luck
