odessamama
Hello everyone, I need to build a quality web site for SaaS business. Among essential components for the SaaS product will be: reporting, CRM, CMS and rules/workflow engine. It needs to be - robust - secure - support advanced GUI features - support MVC - allow fast prototyping I myself am a java guy, but the decision at the startup was to stick with LAMP stack. I've not been keeping up with latest PHP developments, but I can see that there are now a few frameworks that are rather mature. I see Drupal, Smarty, ZEND, Cake and Symphony having substantial followings... Without stirring up religious discussions, can someone provide an objective recommendation on framework(s) that will give us the most out of the box functionality for long term robust web application? Thanks, LB Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/80582-what-framework-to-use/ Share on other sites
Liquid Fire
If i had to use a pre built framework, I would want to use CodeIgniter. Personally I would recommend my custom framework but I have only spent a few month on it and while what I have is solid, it only has the core features(MVC, Database, Email, etc...).
