acidglitter Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 (i put this in the wrong forum.....) At work I need to password protect the admin directory for one of their websites. I have like a .htaccess and .htpasswd files and when the .htaccess is in the main folder everything works except that the entire website is password protected. But when I move the .htaccess file into the admin folder it doesn't work at all.... Does anyone know why it won't work in the other folder?
