[SOLVED] Selecting numbers from 3-9

In an if statement, how do I say that if something == numbers 3-9 then do something?

 

I have this so far:

if ($region == 3-9)
{
$r = "r1";
}

 

I know the above is wrong, but you get the idea.

You want to do:

<?php
if ($region >= 3 && $region <= 9)
?>

 

If it's greater than equal to 3 and less than or equal to 9.
