hitman6003 Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 You probably won't find those two "functions" in one package unless you go with a CMS...joomla, mambo, drupal, etc. You'll also probably get better quality for each one if you use a "standalone" package, where the developers are focused on one type of system, rather than two or more. For blogs, there are many...wordpress, moveabletype (I think is php, maybe perl), bblog, serendipity. For forums, SMF (which runs phpfreaks' forums), phpbb, many others. pixeltrace Posted January 4, 2008 Author Share Posted January 4, 2008 hi, any1 tried using phpbb3? i tried installing it but i can get thru the installation because its telling me to do some settings on the mbstring.http_input, mbstring.http_output set to pass and mbstring.encoding_translation must be set to 0. and idea where and how to do this? i already went to phpbb support but i cant find the solution thanks!
