[SOLVED] How Can I Pull Data From Post Form Data

I wrote a script to go to a status page for each customer.  That script works fine.  It sends me to the link I wanted.  But then, it doens't recognize the loan_id on the next page.  For example.  Let's say the page was test.com/user.php?loan_id=12345  The link sends me to that page, but the script for user.php simply doesn't retrieve the loan_id.  What do I need to add or take away from this to get the desired result?  Here is the code:

$loan_id = $_POST['loan_id'];
echo $loan_id;

If the information is being sent on the URL, you need to pull the data from the $_GET array, not the $_POST array.

Changed to _GET and it worked perfectly!!!
