this is nothing to do with php, it might belong here, but you've not stated what server or OS your account use's.

 

Anyway a htaccess file is really simple, put it in the directory.

 

I can't believe that godaddy have just told you that and left you to it... I won't be getting an account there, htaccess has got nowt to do with php...

 

err, what function want you support?
