Aureole Posted January 17, 2008 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Using PHP how would I create a directory... like on some sites, if you want to activate your account a url will be e-mailed to your. E.g.: http://www.site.com/activate/h083w08hg0sw83ghw083ghw083go3/ How would I do something like that? On other sites a sub-domain is created automatically for you, how do you go about doing that as well? I'm guessing the second at least will require some .htaccess trickery? More likely it's a unique ID inserted into a database combined with mod_rewrite. No comment on the sub-domain part of it.
