br0ken
I'm outputting reports to Excel using the \t for a new cell and \n for a new technique. EG. cellA1\tcellA2\tcellA3\t\n cellB1\tcellB2\tcellB3\t\n When I try to input html into a cell for some reason the html is processed and displayed as html rather than plain text. Is there anyway to simply have the text displayed as plain text? I've attached a print screen of the problem. Thanks in advance! Bauer418
Try running htmlentities on the string before you put it in the spreadsheet Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/87058-phpexcel/#findComment-445229 Share on other sites
br0ken
I've tried that and attached a new screenshot. It's still all messed up. br0ken
I've attached another screenshot of how the Excel file should look. To achieve this I commented out the line that loads the full Description field which is the field containing the html. I'm really stuck on this one!
