noober
I've searched the forum, google a bit and am looking for a bit of help. I have a form that updates a file.txt on submit. The only problem, when you hit return on your keyboard and submit, I'm not getting any line breaks showing up in my text document. Is there any way to pre-format breaks into the form so that when hitting return on the keyboard in the form, a line break is added...similar to what happens when you post in the forum? Or if there's an easier/better method. I'm thinking something like this would do it but I'm not sure what to put in for the coding so that it works when hitting return, or exactly where to put it to be honest. Put it anywhere on the page or in the "form action" part? str_replace("RETURN ON KEYBOARD","</ BR>", $your_string); Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/87276-solved-pre-formatting-line-breaks-into-forms-in-php5/ Share on other sites
