Stooney
I am trying to pull 2 rows from a table in a single query. Let's say $to and $from. So far I've come up with the following: $result=mysql_query("SELECT fname, lname FROM dtf_users WHERE id='$to' OR id='$from'"); This works, but I have no way of telling which is $to and which is $from. How would I accomplish the same thing and be able to distinguish which is which? I could always just compare the results with the id still stored in $to and $from, but I'm hoping there's a way to do it all within the query. Thanks. toplay
Return the id in the select too: SELECT id, fname, lname .... FYI: If you are wanting to retrieve between two numeric ID ranges, then you can use BETWEEN: $result=mysql_query("SELECT id, fname, lname FROM dtf_users WHERE id BETWEEN '$to' AND '$from'");
