Post value in the same documment backwards

I have php code like this:

[!--quoteo--][div class=\'quotetop\']QUOTE[/div][div class=\'quotemain\'][!--quotec--]
<a href="http://www.domain.com/<?php echo $value; ?>">LINK</a>
[/quote]

and afterwards in this document I calculate this $value and gets $value=something;
So I want to send this $value back to the link in the same document.
I can't calculate $value before the link.
Is it possible to do it?

You have control over that entire document before it gets to the client. I suggest you move your calculations within the document so that the value is calculated before you echo the link.
