daperson
Is this possible? I've got a php script that handles encrypted data. When a file is requested for download, another script will decrypt the file, and then in theory serve it to the user, so they can download an unencrypted copy. Obviously i don't want these unencrypted versions hanging around, so is there a way of making each unencrypted copy not downloadable more than once? So it gets deleted right after the user has finished downloading it, and preferably is done in such a way as to prevent multiple people downloading it at once. Any ideas? Daniel0
If the file links are stored in the DB then you could just change a column named is_downloaded or something like that. Sort of like flipping a switch. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/91517-file-downloadable-only-once/#findComment-468868 Share on other sites
