How can I make a fixed background, when you scroll down the background stays fixed, it is nice.

Actually, no. That only tells the background not to repeat. You actually have to tell it to be fixed:

background: url('image.jpg') no-repeat fixed;

 

This is assigning the background-image, background-repeat and background-attachment attributes in shorthand.
