The Little Guy
Why can I read from the array but not add to it? if I were to place cat within the array, the alert would show cat. if I want to add to the array, and if the value cat wasn't there, just an empty array, then read from the array, the first value is not there and the alert says "undefined". Anyone know why that is? playersArr = new Array(); function addToArray(){ // Some code above document.addPlayersForm.email.focus(); var arrlen = playersArr.length; playersArr[arrnlen] = emailShow; } function readFromArray(){ // Some code above var pList = ''; for(var i = 0;i < playersArr.length;i++){ pList += '<option>'+playersArr[i]+'</option>'; } alert(playersArr[0]); document.getElementById('p1_list').value = pList; }
