rob_v
I have a quick question. I have a form that has 10 mutli select boxes. On the submit - I read each box and put the data in a table as needed. Some of the the multi select boxes are optional so they dont always have data. Is there anyway around having to check each array if its empty before I go into the loop? This is some psyudo code of what I currently do : if(!empty($form_select_box_A)) { foreach($orm_select_box_A as $the_value) { ...do stuff here... } } Just curious if there is any other way to do w.out having to check if each array is empty. (I also use smarty - they have a nice little foreachelse - which handles a case like this) Thanks -rob
BlueSkyIS
no need to check if it's not empty. foreach will do nothing if it's empty. you may need to make sure it's an array before using foreach, though.
