GingerRobot
Personally, i'd feel very uneasy about using a site which was tracking me in real time.
ardyandkari
if i got a call after i started an order, i would ABSOLUTELY abandon the order. this would be the most annoying thing that someone could do to me. i hate telemarketers anyways, but if someone called me when i was in checkout, just to ask if i was going to check out or leave the order...well, lets just say that there would be some words exchanged. my suggestion to someone thinking about using this service... dont. spviv
You can use SalesPeriod Anywhere you need almost instant information. Calling customers is one option that most people use, that is correct. And it's a wonderful usage. But it is just One way you can use SalesPeriod. And (in our customers' reported experience) 9.999 times out of 10, people do Not get upset when you call them. They just don't. When someone is in the middle of the buying process they are ready and willing to hear from you. It's the opposite of telemarketing. Telemarketing calls people out of the clear blue...and that is annoying. If you use SalesPeriod to contact your prospective customers While they are filling out your checkout page it's 100% different. The point is: No matter how you choose to use SalesPeriod, our goal is the same. We deliver you almost Instant information from your website with almost no knowledge of programming needed by you. It's a beautiful thing. One other way to use SalesPeriod that our customers really find useful....is to use the "DirectURL" link option and include a small tracking link in your Accounts Receivable emails. Then....when people who owe you money open your standard emails...you know they're most likely sitting at their computer ready to speak with you (and you know this in about 2 seconds)! You're going to call them later anyway. Why not call them when they're actually available? Joe
