Well, This is what I found after a month of experiance of same problem Well< i use Xampp from few months now. And before I was on XP and on XP it does make a problem, If the Microsoft C++ 2005 Redistribution is not installed. But on Vista it works perfect (MAY be that Distribution is build-in Click here to download Microsoft C++ 2005 Redistribution!, Install and restart your computer and then Apache or MySQL or any service in your XAMPP!
