PFMaBiSmAd
Like most of the core php functions, those two are explained in the php manual - http://www.php.net/docs.php When you read up on those, take note that those two functions only work when register globals are on, they have both been depreciated since php 4.2 in the year 2002, and have been completely removed in php6.
