Not played PC games for years. More of a console man, however I never played Starcraft back in the day but used to be a massive fan of Dune & the Command & Conquer strategy series. Don't know how they compare. The price of a PC for gaming these days is just too high for me to warrant it.

Yes, record the expiry time and the last click time in a database. Every click both values should increment. If the expiry time is passed the current time, then the user is obviously inactive. Never install in a subfolder from a website. Put phpmyadmin on a domain that you do not use publically i.e myadmin.somerandomdomainname.com If you have a static IP then add to the allowed list in an .htaccess. Reject all others. Use htpasswd also.

This is a bad idea passing one set of users data to another. The system is just asking for abuse! If one set of users details are passed to another via email, then your security better be good. I wouldn't touch this with a 6 foot bargepole. The legal ramifications are huge. Passing data on is essentially breaking the data protection act.

Why not try some freelance work just to get experience. I used to do work for free years ago so I had something to demonstrate the skills I had aquired. Companies will see this as positive.

I cant believe that statement. Do you honestly think that the ref could have done a better job? Do you think that he should have sent off Nigel De Jong & Van Bommel? Because I tell you now, plenty of others would have done. What would the result have been if that would have happened? There is no way that Iniesta was offside for the second pass that he scored from. The first pass from Fabregas he was in an offside position but the ball was intercepted therefore he was not intefering with play hence not offside, he moved back into an onside position and received the second pass, goal. That was a difficult game for any referee. The players made it difficult. Howard Webb did a good job IMO. The better side won.

Of course. As long as it says XBOX Live on the box cover then it supports online multi-player. COD Modern Warfare 2 & Battlefield Bad Company 2 are two of the biggest military style shooters on any platform.

If you are into your shooters then a 360 anyday. If you are into strategy or Warcraft style MMORPG games, then a PC. I would only go for a Playstation if you really want the Blu-Ray player or aren't bothered about the online aspect of games as the multi platform games don't differ on either console. XBOX Live is the best online gaming service, far better than the PS Network. I prefer to have the gaming on my big TV rather than a PC screen or having some kind of link from PC to TV setup. That is why I would have a console all day. I know PC gaming fanboys will be upset with this, but consoles are primarily for gaming and the idea of swithching on, pop in a game and away you go is great, rather than booting up, install a game, hope that the hardware is upto spec, etc.

Just a quick post to congratulate Spain on winning the World Cup. Well deserved. On another note, the Dutch were a disgrace to football with wreckless tackles and were lucky to still have a full team on the pitch for so long. Shame after their previous performances. Well done Spain.
