-
so when they ask "why are non of your referees your current line managers/boss?" i say ?
-
Hi guys, How in a CV do you write that you have concerns informing your current employer/line managers that you are applying for other jobs because they will go ballistic? Many thanks in advance I just cant find the right wording to use

so a good clear definition for SaaS vs Cloud is? or should it be SasS, Cloud/Web Based?
-
So if I really wanted to define SaaS vs Cloud, could I say SaaS - dedicated to you Cloud - shared or not?
-
I am trying to compile three clear definitions, one each for Software As A Product, Software As A Service and Cloud Software (Applications). I need to clearly define what each is. If anyone can help or guide me in the right direction with a X vs Y vs Z statement that would be very much appreciated.

still takes me to corporate/
-
I have this RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-d RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)?$ /$1.php [L] RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)/([^/.]+)/?$ /$1/$2.php [L] I go to http://www.mydomain.com/corporate it takes me straight to (the url looks like) http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ still for http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios it works fine, its just any that are not within a folder htdocs/corporate.php
-
This ... RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-d RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)?$ /$1.php [L] RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)/([^/.]+)/?$ /$1/$2.php [L] still sends it to corporate/ but now returns a FORBIDDEN error as well
-
After taking time to re-read and investigation with trial and error the stuff from cags earlier I now have this RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-d RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)/?$ /$1.php [L] RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)/([^/.]+)/?$ /$1/$2.php [L] Only ONE thing really annoys me with this if I do http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios the URL stays looking that way in the browser YAY BUT if I do http://www.mydomain.com/corporate the URL automatically changes to http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ .... I would rather it did not do that ... one last hurdle
-
So a development Thanks to cags RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-d RewriteRule ^([^/.]+)/?$ /$1.php [L] This will allow me to type http://www.mydomain.com/ent and see root/ent.php BUT if there is also an ent foler in root it makes it automatically go to http://www.mydomain.com/ent/ and then breaks all the CSS and also is annoying So I need to figure out why this does this
-
So I thought at first my server might be incorrectly configured because no supplied rewrite would work but ... RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^old.html$ new.html does, so what I need is a working rewrite that allows a user to type: http://www.mydomain.com/contact and that will display the page http://www.mydomain.com/contact.php with the url bar still showing http://www.mydomain.com/contact, like the above sample
-
especially since I have this in my conf LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
-
This fails http://www.wallpaperama.com/forums/how-to-test-check-if-mod-rewrite-is-enabled-t40.html I am using Windows so how can I get rewrite to work on Apache in Windows? I got no idea whats wrong with it.
-
once again a very shameless bump because no one seems to be able to answer me.
-
Hi guys, So a user types http://www.mydomain.com/corporate and it pulls up the file root/corporate.php but the URLS remains looking like http://www.mydomain.com/corporate it must do this for any depth of folders and files, e.g., http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios is root/corporate/bios.php etc etc Cheers in advance
-
I fail to see that, but anyway ok cags
-
and your point is?
-
Change of plan ... and please note corporate etc are examples and the rewrite needs to automatically deal with ANY so http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ would rewrite to http://www.mydomain.com/corporate which would be http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/index.php and http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/corporate/bios/ rewtite to http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios which would be http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios.php

Hi Jumpy09 and cags ... in clear terms this is what I want to do This is what the URL in the browser should look like # This is what thr file in the server is http://www.mydomain.com/corporate # root/corporate.php OR http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ # root/corporate.php (This should fail safe also and check if there is root/corporate/index.php and use that if it exists) http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ # root/corporate.php OR http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/ # root/corporate/index.php http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios # root/corporate/bios.php OR http://www.mydomain.com/corporate/bios/ # root/corporate/bios.php Should always fail safe and check against if folder e.g., bios exists andf has index.php make sense?
-
even using part of the code you sent me Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/?$ /$1.php [L] returns an Internal Error
-
cags, I have tried Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !-d RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/(\d+)?$ /$1.php [L] and others and cannot get it to work, it would genuinely appreciated if you could help me with the solution
-
If someone could help me it would be much much appreciated.
