  2. What is it? PEAR is a framework and distribution system for reusable PHP components. Sounds good? Perhaps you might want to know about installing PEAR on your system or installing pear packages. You can find help using PEAR packages in the online manual and the FAQ. If you have been told by other PEAR developers to sign up for a PEAR website account, you can use this interface.
  3. Hello all, I have been trying to run Xdebug 2.1.0-5.2-vc6 with Eclipse and Wamp2 which is running on PHP 5.2.9, but unfortunately its not able to work, i have followed the steps of the installation documented by Xdebug, and done the debugging as normal, but nothing seems to work and i get a warning saying: You seem to have Xdebug loaded as a normal PHP extension only. This will cause odd issues, any ideas on how i can fix this? thanks in-advance.
  4. Hello , I have been using WampServer 2.0i [07/11/09] with (Apache 2.2.11, MySQL 5.1.36 & PHP 5.3.0 ) for a year. When I access large DB table using a product "Tableau" it return with a message "MySQL database error 0x80004005: [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.1.36-community-log]MySQL server has gone away" and "Tableau" indicates that it is an MySQL problem. Within the "C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.1.36\My.ini" it has the "max_allowed_packet = 16M" under the "[mysqldump]". Do you have any suggestions on how to remedy this problem ?
  5. Hello, I have several projects on my local WAMP server. Only one of them isn't executing PHP. When I view the page source in this one project it shows the PHP script. (example of what I see below). Any ideas? Thanks. -Mike ---------------- <?php //header( "Content-Type: text/html" ); phpinfo(); ?> -----------------
  6. Can any boy clarify these queries. [*]How do I find out if an array has values posted to each of its elements? I need to know that EVERY element has been filled out. How can I send variables from a PHP script to another URL using POST without using forms and hidden variables? [*]
  7. Been at this one for so long that I'm not seeing the wood for the trees. You know what it's like... Anyway, here's the problem... I've got a nested list on my site navigation. The parent list font size is set to 1.2em (12px). I want the sub-list to be 1em (10px). The code, I thought, should look something like this: Code: #sitenav ul li ul li{font-size:1em;} I've tried every combination I can think of and just can't get the font to the size I want! Could someone please put me out of my misery?!?! And yes, I am embarrassed to be asking such an easy question!
